개요

그리그(E. 그리그)의 Beside the Cradle(요람 옆에서)는 제목 처럼 어머니의 잔잔한 목소리로 부르는 자장가처럼 조용하고 편안한 느낌의 곡이다.

구성

총 43마디의 Ternary Form(세도막 형식)이며, 3 Period 와 11 Phrase로 구성되어 있다.

가. Modulationg Period : E Major로 시작하여, 13마디에서 A Major로 전조되었다가 16, 17마디를 통해 E Major로 되돌아간다.

나. Parallel construction Period : d' 와 coda를 제외한 나머지 Phrase가 모두 유사구조의 악절로 이루어져 있다.

다. Cadence

1) A - 반종지, feminine 마침

2) B - 반종지, feminine 마침

3) A' - 정격종지, 남성적 마침

4) 6마디의 마지막 박자가 다음 Phrase로 연결되는 Elided Cadence 로 이루어져 있다.

라. 비화성음과 변화음의 사용 : 5~8 마디까지 비화성음과 변화음이 사용되었다.

마. 21~27마디는 연속 부속화음으로 진행된다.(반음계적)
